A gaming blog with a cinematographer's eye
Founded in a St Kilda studio in 2016, FrozenBattleChampions.live grew from a two-person Twitch recap into one of Australia's most-read independent gaming publications, with over 180,000 monthly readers.
We treat every write-up like a film shoot: deliberate framing, honest lighting, and no sponsored spin. If a game is cold and hollow, we say so — and if it's a masterpiece, we tell you exactly why.
How we differ
Slow journalism in a fast-scroll world
We don't chase day-one hype. Every review runs after a minimum of 20 hours played, patch-tested and screenshotted in our own darkroom-styled capture suite.
